The Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine in Dalarna is a regional clinic with radiology departments in Avesta, Ludvika, Falun, and Mora, as well as mammography services in Falun, Borlänge, and Mora. Approximately 200 employees from various professional categories work within the regional clinic.

The radiology department in Falun operates around the clock, providing urgent and scheduled examinations in Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, Conventional Radiology, Interventions, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Nuclear Medicine. Here, over 100 employees with different professions work, so you will have a team of happy, competent, and engaged colleagues. We are a growing radiology service within Region Dalarna, where we will open our newly built MRI facility in the fall of 2025, expanding our MRI services. Our operations are characterized by high-quality care, teamwork, and a strong commitment to improving care for our patients. Each year, approximately 37,000 women are called for mammographic health checks at the Mammography department, and we also conduct around 12,000 clinical examinations annually. Clinical patients come either by referral, contact us directly, or are recalled from health checks. We have a close collaboration with surgeons and pathologists and hold multidisciplinary conferences every week. Our operations are conducted in accordance with the recommendations of the National Board of Health and Welfare and strive for high quality in diagnostics and patient care. At the mammography clinic in Dalarna, we have 22 employees.

Radiology Nurse Rotation Mammography and Radiology Falun/Borlänge Job Responsibilities

The Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine is now seeking a new employee for a rotation placement at the mammography and radiology department in Falun.

As a radiology nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no day is the same. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and that examinations are performed with the highest quality. We work in teams that may vary depending on which lab you are in. 

Working with mammography means that you will meet many women of all ages daily. It is a stimulating job where you must quickly build trust and perform the examination professionally. The work at the mammography department varies between health checks, clinical imaging, and telephone advice, with placements varying between Falun and Borlänge.

Qualifications:

• The Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine is now looking for you as a licensed radiology nurse for a rotation placement at the mammography and radiology department.
• Our operations are technical and digitized, so you should have good computer skills.
• You are calm and confident and have the ability to build trust quickly.

About the Position

Position: Radiology Nurse Rotation

Location: Falun/Borlänge

Employment Rate: 100% with a rotation of 50% mammography and 50% radiology; we can discuss how the rotation will be implemented upon potential employment.
